25 Special Commands

IQdesktop comes with special command line features that aim at more convenient use of the system. These are listed in the table below. Note that the table also lists some important standard system commands.

Command Description
awskeys Install AWS keys for access to AWS (e.g. S3 buckets). Command not present in Public image and neither if privileged mode is disabled.
code Starts the VScode text editor
dir Shows the contents of the current folder
doc Opens web page with offline IQdesktop documentation
gclone Shortcut for ‘git clone’
gpush Shortcut for “git add .; git commit -m ‘-’; git push”
gpush "message" Shortcut for “git add .; git commit -m ‘message’; git push”
gpull Shortcut for ‘git pull’
info Shows the key tools available and their validation status
IQReport Executes IQReport
kate Starts the kate text editor
ll Shows the contents of the current folder
monolix Starts MONOLIX
mount_"LABEL" Mount predefined CIFS/SMB/Samba file systems by “LABEL”. Command not present in Public image and neither if privileged mode is disabled.
mountS3 Mount S3 buckets. Command not present in Public image and neither if privileged mode is disabled.

nmlicense Installs a NONMEM license key
okular Starts PDF reader
passwd Allows to change the user password
pkanalix Starts PKANALIX
support Opens the support webpage
umountS3 Unmount S3 buckets. Command not present in Public image and neither if privileged mode is disabled.
umount_"LABEL" Unmount predefined CIFS/SMB/Samba file systems by “LABEL”. Command not present in Public image and neither if privileged mode is disabled.
validation Shows the key tools available and their validation status
version Shows the IQdesktop version and the host system identifier
vncpasswd Allows to change the VNC login password
